Hi, Iām Emily
I love all things winter, horses, and peanut butter. At 30 years old my family has finally accepted horses aren't just a "phase." I have yet to grow out of being the horse girl in the room. I live in my favorite mountain town with my favorite person (aka my husband) and we love to live like tourists even though we both grew up in the mountains.
My faith in Jesus is a huge part of who I am, my goal is to love like He loves and make people feel His unwavering love for humanity.
The mountains of Western North Carolina will always be home. No matter where I go nothing matches the beauty and the stories these mountains hold. Appalachian culture is deeply rooted in family and story telling. I have a passion for telling love stories in the form of timeless photos which will be handed down for generations.
Looking through albums and photos of previous generations always meant so much to me and my brother, Ethan when we were young. It definitely shaped our reason for going into the story telling business.
I consider each person who steps in front of my camera family, and family is SO important to me! Making people feel comfortable and confident in their memorable moments is why I LOVE what I do.
Favorite Time of Day: Night. I am currently and have ALWAYS been a night owl.
Favorite Season: Winter. I love all things cozy! There is nothing like a snowy night, Christmas lights on, fire place going and a hot cup of something in my favorite coffee cup.
Things I Don't Like: Wasps and Balloons. I can keep it together when they are around but balloon games in youth group were my nightmare.
