Wedding

Mills River, NC

Soft music playing. The doors of the sanctuary closed. The groom at the alter. Excited guests wait to see the bride. Then, the groom begins to swiftly walk toward the door. Worried and anxious expressions fill the room followed by a silent but collective sigh of relief. Caleb has gone to get his bride! 

The flow of the ceremony was pure, sacred and unique. Haley’s father was the officiant, so Caleb and Haley had the opportunity to walk side by side down the aisle! For a split second guests thought Caleb was a run away groom. Then, he and Haley walked through the doors arm in arm as the strong couple they are. 

Due to family circumstances, they had to postpone their wedding from December to March. The strength and compassion they have shown not only to each other but to their family has knitted them closer and closer together. The little bit of rain we had on their day was nothing compared to the storms they have already weathered together. Just like life, we had just enough break in the darkness and clouds for some wonderful moments in the middle of the storm. 

Haley and Caleb, thank you SO MUCH for letting me be a part of your day and love story. I have no doubt God has great things planned for the two of you individually and as a couple.
