Antler Hill - Biltmore Estate - Asheville, NC

“Hey, let me go over and check on this grass before you follow me.” “Oh, it’s ok. We trust you"!” That was the conversation that made my entire night! Alyssa and Jesse’s engagement session at Antler Hill has been one of my favorites. And yes, those dreamy photos that look like they are in the middle of head tall grass? In the parking lot. THE PARKING LOT!

It is wonderful when the couple in front of my camera trusts me. Sometimes we see things in a way no one else can. We can picture the frame, the background, the vibe (an official artistic term :) ). Some of the best images that have ever come out of my camera have been in parking lots.

Alyssa and Jess, thank you for trusting me not only with parking lot photos but with your wedding day! I am so excited about September.
