Engagement Experience

Waterrock Knob-Blue Ridge Parkway, NC

The top of Waterrock Knob on a gorgeous Western North Carolina fall morning. The colors are changing, the air is crisp, and there are no clouds in sight. One of the first chilly autumn mornings. The first day of sweatshirt weather. The shift in the season when noses get cold, and drinks get hot.

 Caroline and Matthew’s engagement session was a dream! The mountains hold a special place in their hearts, and we are so glad we were able to capture this milestone in their love story. The giggles, cuddles, and soft blankets reflect the fun and gorgeous people these two are.

 These mountains have always been home, but I will never cease to be amazed at the beauty they emit in fall! They are gorgeous all year long, but their radiance is unmatched in autumn.

 This was also my mom Donna’s first ever complete solo session! She has done second shooting for me for over 3 years, but she completely rocked her first start-to-finish, set-the-camera-and-check-light-and-all-the-things-all-alone session.

 Caroline and Matthew, thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your love story! We cannot wait for your wedding in February and are so excited for this journey you are on together.
