The photographer requests for everything to be out of your pockets. Phones, keys, wallets, etc. You’re trying to keep one of the biggest most important secrets and not ruin the surprise. Do you take all the things out of your pockets and risk ruining the surprise? These are probably a few thoughts running through Cory’s head moments before he proposed to Kristen!

 I was wondering why Cory acted a little reluctant to take everything out of his pockets. I promised it would be worth it for the photos. Little did I know he was concealing a ring in his pocket and was about to propose! Capturing this moment has been one of my favorite 2022 photo session moments. Spoiler alert: Kristen said YES! I’m not sure who was the happiest. Kristen, Cory, and Olivia were all beaming with joy throughout the rest of their family session. 

 Minutes before they were supposed to leave for their session their power went out. Kirsten had just told me how they had stopped at Dunkin Doughnuts so she could pop the last three curls in her hair and do the finishing touches on her makeup. It amazes me that such normal days can lead to such big life milestones.

 This family is a joy! Their smiles say it all and photographing them AND such a great moment is something I will never forget. Kristen, Cory, Olivia, thank y’all so much for letting me be a part of a wonderful moment in your journey!
