Happy tears. Laughs. So much love. The seconds after being married. Autumn light streaming through a flowing veil. The most newly wed of newly wed moments. The first married embrace in a setting sun following a lake front ceremony. Those moments weren’t created or staged, it was the love Alexis and Michael have for each other and I am honored I was invited to document it!

Michael and my brother Ethan played middle and high school basketball together. This wedding felt like a full circle moment, because the same “kids” I took photos of with my very first camera were in the wedding party (and one was the groom!). Meeting and getting to know Alexis through this planning process has been wonderful. She is all things fun, love and light. I was so excited to see the way her and Michael share their love for each other throughout their entire wedding day.

Alexis and Michael, thank you so much for allowing me hang out with you all day. It was such a wonderful wedding day, and I am SO EXCITED for this next chapter of your love story.
