Engagement Session

The Loralei Inn - Canton, NC

Garland and greenery all around. Wind blowing in a cold front across the frost covered mountains. A couple standing in the spot where in just a few short months they will share their first dance as a married couple. Does it sound like a Hallmark movie yet? It should, because Stacey and Patrick’s engagement session at The Loralei Inn was an absolute dream! 

We are less than five months away from Stacey and Patrick’s wedding and it was so great to meet them in person! The excitement of the holiday season and Stacey finishing up one of the hardest finals in her program made it easy for us to make merry and really enjoy ourselves during their engagement session. They were so fun to have in front of my cameras, and were up for any and all of my seemingly crazy prompts. They frolicked through the sleeping winter fields, shared countless kisses at the front gate, danced under oak trees and even had fun reenacting some engagement photos from a movie that was filmed in our area (those were the most fun:) ). The highlight was Patrick dipping Stacey in front of the beautifully decorated porch. They were perfectly framed by the decor of the season and it is a photo that makes my Christmas loving photographer heart so happy! I cannot wait to document their wedding day this spring and watch them take the next step in their love story. 

Stacey and Patrick, thank you so much for spending the Monday before Christmas with me! I hope y’all have a wonderful holiday with rest, loved ones and excitement about the Christmases to come.
