The sun setting, spring air cooling down, quiet moments under a giant oak tree. It’s not a book, it’s Sydney and Spencer’s engagement session at The Loralei Inn!

It was so fun to meet this couple! They are from Texas and are planning a destination wedding in the Appalachian Mountains. I had not met them in person before their session, but we were instant friends! High school sweet hearts who lost touch then reconnected after college. Now, they are getting married! I love how life has a way of pulling people together who are meant to be partners. It’s like an invisible string (my fellow Swifties get me;) ). All jokes aside, Sydney and Spencer’s love story is wonderful! They have dated with intention and have known from early on they truly wanted to be together. Spencer proposed to Sydney under an oak tree in Texas in an intimate spot. It was only fitting that some of their portraits are under an oak tree in the destination of their wedding!

Sydney & Spencer, thank you so much for letting me enjoy this journey with you! I am SO excited about your October wedding.
